The SFLm Draft Show is BACK!
ARTICLE BY ELI DEIOMES [S'cylle Aldmiir] | SFLm Commissioner
The next chapter of SFLm competition is almost here, and it all kicks off with the SFLm Draft Show, airing Tuesday, December 16th at 8:00 PM Eastern Time.
This draft will feature 21 total picks with 8 available players, creating a strategic environment where every selection—and every non-selection—matters. Owners will be weighing long-term value, roster needs, and compensation options as the board unfolds.
Draft Format & Compensation
Not every pick will result in a player selection—and that’s by design.
Any draft pick not used to select a player will instead be compensated based on the pick’s assigned value, as outlined in the Season 24 rule updates. This ensures teams retain meaningful value for every slot in the draft, whether they add talent directly or leverage compensation to strengthen their organization in other ways.
In short:
No wasted picks.
No dead rounds.
Just smart team-building.
Why This Draft Matters
With fewer players than picks available, this draft is less about volume and more about precision. Teams that do their homework, read the room, and stay flexible will come out ahead—whether that’s landing a key player or maximizing compensation value.
It’s a draft that rewards patience, planning, and a little bit of bold decision-making.
Without further ado, let me introduce you to the draft order itself!
