The future of the Simulation Football League minor league just got a whole lot louder. While the Official Season 12 Schedule will be announced on New Year's Day, 2026, the SFLm has some exciting news to share nonetheless.

After a highly competitive expansion bidding process, the SFLm is proud to officially welcome two new franchises into the league—each bringing a distinct identity, regional pride, and a vision that aligns perfectly with the league’s mission of developing tomorrow’s stars.

Please welcome the league’s newest teams:

⚔️ Boston Cavalry

OWNERS: Aiden Teixiera & Rodney Smith

Steeped in tradition and driven by discipline, the Boston Cavalry march into the SFLm with a brand rooted in resilience, structure, and hard-nosed football. This is a franchise built on unity and grit—one that intends to set the standard from day one and defend its banner with pride.

🌊 Oregon Waves

OWNER: Keith Wheeler

Bold, fluid, and relentless, the Oregon Waves bring a surge of energy to the league. Inspired by momentum and adaptability, this franchise represents the ever-shifting nature of competition—and the belief that pressure doesn’t break teams, it shapes them. 

The Next Chapter Begins

Both organizations will now begin roster construction, branding reveals, and preparation for their inaugural SFLm season. Their arrival marks another major step forward for the league as it continues to grow, evolve, and create opportunities for players and staff alike.
