SFLm Season 11 Teams ANNOUNCED!
by Alex West

When consulted on her feelings regarding Boston hanging up their cleats for the final time, owner Xena West had this to say: "My husband Alex and I originally approached commissioner Cameron Irvine with the idea for the co-owned franchise before Alex was asked to be commissioner of the SFLm. It was meant to be a shared project and our way of showing our love for the league. But with new circumstances came a change in the franchise - Alex needed to focus on running the SFLm, and so the Rebels went from co- to sole ownership. Now, with increasing responsibilities in my own life, it's time to retire the franchise. The Boston Rebels were originally created to be a breath of fresh air with the hope that it would ignite both new and returning interest to the SFLm. I believe it has done just that."
But as one story concludes, three more rise to take its place. The SFLm is proud to welcome three new franchises into the league for the upcoming season—each one bringing a fresh identity, dynamic leadership, and new opportunities for aspiring SFL stars.

With great appreciation for their contributions to the league, we officially announce the folding of the Boston Rebels.
