SFLm Playoffs start tonight - Here's how they work

This season in SFLm is unlike any other as it quickly transitions into the first double elimination bracket of american football. All eight teams will battle it out and crown another champion in early January. Here's what you can expect:

All eight teams were seeded according to their regular season finish. The four winners will play each other and four losers of round 1 games (Dec. 8) will play one another Monday December 11 - those that fall in defeat in the losers bracket will be eliminated.
The two teams who make it through the first two rounds unscathed will battle on December 15 for the first spot in the Championship on January 1. At any point a team suffers their first loss, they'll be relegated to the losers bracket where they'll fight to get to the losers final on December 28. The winner of that final will face the winners bracket champ in the Championship.
The losers bracket champ would need to beat the winners champ twice to win, an if necessary second leg of the Championship to be played January 5.

You can catch all the action on SFL YouTube. The SFL Rookie Draft is slated for December 29 and 30 and Season 22 of the SFL is set to begin Friday January 12. The SFL Schedule will be released Saturday December 9 and Signings/Free Agency begins Sunday December 10.
