SFLm - DRAFT ADJUSTMENTS
ARTICLE BY ELI DEIOMES [S'cylle Aldmiir] | SFLm Media Director
As we march toward draft season, we’re tightening the language and making sure everyone understands the path to the pros.
ELIGIBILITY RULES
Players with ONE SFLm season (minimum of 10 games) —
You have three options:
- Remain in the SFLm for a second season and continue developing your player.
- Elevate to the SFL and sign with a franchise of your choice.
- Enter the Draft, throw your future into the competitive pool, and let destiny (and scouting reports) steer the ship.
Players with TWO FULL SFLm seasonS —
You are required to either:
- Elevate to the SFL and sign with a franchise of your choice.
- Enter the Draft and let fate decide.
There is no third season of minors eligibility. After two full campaigns, you’re moving forward. That’s the system; earn your wings.
REGARDING DRAFT PICK TRADES
We're not going to overcomplicate it — this year, there will be no trading of picks.
You either:
- Make your selection,
OR - Receive cash equivalent to that pick’s value.
Simple. Clean. No war rooms exploding from 37-team trade pyramids.
