Lights, Mic, Action: SFLm Wants You Behind the Booth!

ARTICLE BY ELI DEIOMES [S'cylle Aldmiir] | SFLm Media Director

Have you ever watched an SFL game and thought, “I could call that play!” — or maybe you’ve got a knack for hype, storytelling, and painting every yard of the field with your words? Now’s your chance to make it official.

The Simulation Football League minor league (SFLm) is looking for new broadcasters ready to step up to the mic and become the voices of the next generation of football.

Get Your Start, Make Your Mark

Starting this season, anyone who dreams of calling games for the SFL Major League must first earn their stripes in the SFLm booth. It’s where you’ll learn the ropes, hone your style, and get valuable reps that will get your name out there across the league.

Whether you’re a lifelong football fanatic, a natural storyteller, or just someone looking to break into sports media, this is your runway!

How to Apply

Getting started is simple:

  1. Visit www.simfl.net/broadcasting
  2. Fill out the quick application form
  3. Once you submit, veteran broadcasters Mike Daggs and Chris Curtis will review your application and reach out to schedule an initial assessment — a fun, low-pressure way to see if your set-up meets our requirements for broadcasting.

They’ll guide you through the basics, answer your questions, and let you know if you've got what it takes to call the next generation of football!
