SFL releases Off-Season Schedule
The Simulation Football League will begin preparations for Season 27 following the conclusion of the SFLm Playoffs. These events will get us ready for another exciting five months of SFL action, starting with kickoff weekend and the 2026 Hall-of-Fame Induction ceremonies at the Convention in Denver, Colorado July 30-August 2.
The salary cap for Season 26 is 69 million. Any team that made cuts preparing for 68 million, as the revised cap was announced after the final week of progression was underway, will receive the difference in their team bank. No team will receive more than 1 million in their team bank if they fall short of 68 million.
The following dates are subject to change but will be the dates for these events unless otherwise noted:
Off-Season Signing - Friday June 12-Friday June 26
All-Star Game - Monday June 15
*HQ Out of Office (limited availability) - Friday June 19-Friday June 26*
Rookie Draft - Tuesday June 23
Schedule Release - Wednesday July 1
Roster Lock - Friday July 3
Updated roster file released - Saturday July 11
Textures Due - Friday July 10
Updated texture mod released - Saturday July 18
Playbooks Due - Saturday July 25
The SFL is preparing for an exciting off-season with priorities that include launching a new SFL store (June), refreshing our broadcast presentation and building towards 2027.
The league has been gathering feedback from customers who have filled out surveys over the last few years regarding our systems on progressions, team and player banks, portal functionality, game choice and more. Project 27 will aim to address all of these concerns at the Owners Summit this summer, where the league and its teams will work towards a brighter future on and off the field.
We value any and all feedback and, while it takes time to reshape policies and it is not possible to make everyone happy with any decision made, work tirelessly to put the best product and community out there for all to enjoy.
