After a thrilling ending to the SFL's 21st regular season, the top four seeds and Wild Card pairings are set. After the Wild Card Round, the bracket will re-seed once, with the worst record facing the No. 1 seed, the second-worst record facing the No. 2 seed, etc. Once the bracket re-seeds for the Quarterfinals, it will not re-seed. Here's a first glance look at all the playoff teams this time around, their playoff histories and Season 21 resumes:

No. 1 Fort Worth Toros (12-0)

The Toros capped off their perfect regular season with a 24-22 win over Alamo City, becoming only the third team to finish a perfect 12-game slate, joining Season 10 Tallahassee and Season 11 Alaska. They had the most dominant regular season of any team in league history (+221 point differential) topping London's +207 in Season 19. This despite winning four games by four points or less.

NO. 2 FLORIDA STORM (10-2)

The Storm won 10 regular season games for the fifth time in team history and the first time since Season 17. Florida's two losses came by a combined 10 points in back-to-back last minute losses to Atlanta and Carolina, who didn't even qualify for the playoffs. Florida went 4-0 against teams who qualified for the postseason. The team is seeking its fourth Championship and the first since Season 12.

NO. 3 Alamo City Artillery (10-2)

The Artillery lost two games this season by a combined three points and are hoping that this year can finally be the year the franchise gets over the hump. The team has made three Championships, but has never won, last appearing in Season 17. Alamo City tied its franchise regular season wins record, last achieved in Season 13 as the Seattle Tyrants. 

NO. 4 Baltimore Vultures (9-3)

The Vultures won at least eight games and made the playoffs for a SFL record 11th consecutive season and enter the playoffs on a six-game winning streak. They, like Florida, lost to a pair of teams who failed to qualify for the playoffs (Motor City, Carolina) and also fell to Florida in Week 1 at the 2023 Convention. In his 11th season, T-Roy Gaines rushed for a career high in yards (1,599) and touchdowns (20).

NO. 5 Arizona Scorpions (9-3)

The Scorpions will make the playoffs for the third-straight season, and fifth time in the last six seasons under the direction of Eddie Gauge. Arizona lost three games this season all by six points or less and boasts the league's first 2,000-yard rusher - D.J. Moses II - since Reggie Streeter did it in Season 15. Moses, Season 20 MVP, could be in line for the first back-to-back and two-time MVP in SFL history.

NO. 6 seattle nemesis (8-4)

The Seattle Nemesis have gone from 1-11, to 4-8 to 8-4 in three seasons, the team's first playoff appearance. While Seattle has lost two in a row, their No. 1 pick Ty Ptak made history, setting a league record for most rushing touchdowns in a season by a QB (6). Seattle had it tough this season, playing the seventh toughest schedule, while sporting the seventh-best strength of victory and second-best strength of defeat.

NO. 7 d.c. dragons (7-5)

The Dragons are in the playoffs for the third time in their last four seasons, winners of four of their last five games. Five of the Dragons 12 games were decided by three points or less - the Dragons went 1-4 in those games. D.C. only turned the ball over nine times, fewest of any team this season. D.C. also had the fewest turnovers in Season 19 when turnovers were more frequent - 19 giveaways that season.''

NO. 8 canton classics (7-5)

Canton, like Seattle, came into the league in Season 19 and is making its first postseason appearance. They'll be at home, where the Classics were 6-0 at Fatherhood Festival Field, now 13-5 at home all-time. Robert Johnson set a SFL record this season, carrying the ball 421 times, or 55.4% of the total offense. Johnson, in his seventh season, is 20th all-time in carries now with 1,812 in his career.

NO. 9 vancouver legion (7-5)

The Legion are making their eighth-consecutive playoff appearance and unfortunately we have to keep talking about the team's bizarre streak. Vancouver in all nine playoff appearances has won its first game, but then lost its second, whether that be in the Quarterfinals or Semifinals. Vancouver scored 35.8 points per game this season (franchise record) and gave up 34.4 points per game (franchise record).

NO. 10 SAN DIEGO MAVERICKS (7-5)

The third team to make its postseason debut, the Mavs put behind them five straight seasons without a playoff appearance. Last season, San Diego was one of three 7-5 teams that didn't make the playoffs. The team set franchise single-game scoring records both at home and on the road, earned their biggest blowout and largest defeat all in the same season. The roller coaster's on the upswing, winners of three straight.

NO. 11 charleston predators (6-6)

The Predators are back in the playoffs for the first time since Season 18, last finishing 6-6 in Season 16 which wasn't good enough for a postseason berth. The Predators have gone 5-4 in their last nine games - 5-0 against teams who didn't make this season's playoffs and 0-4 against teams that did. Charleston just played its 150th game in franchise history, the 16th team to achieve the feat.

NO. 12 MINNESOTA LEGEND (4-8)

The Legend become the first team with a record two games under .500 to make the SFL Playoffs, after winning a Central Division in which all teams finished 4-8. Three of Minnesota's four wins came against the Central, with their one win out-of-division coming against the 10th-seeded San Diego Mavericks, a 48-7 walloping. Minnesota had a strange season, finishing 4-8 with a +14 point differential.
