SFL names Season 23 Dev Team, pays out bonuses
The league has finalized its Developmental Team for Season 23, allowing players who have gone through the draft process - and undrafted free agents where applicable - who are in need of continued growth to compete. These players will progress in the minor league, which has cheaper attribute prices furthering the process of improvement.
The cut line for this season's development team was a 71 overall player. Owner players are ineligible for the team. Undrafted free agents were selected based on position need and the lowest-rated UDFAs regardless of position.
SFLm progression will resume Saturday July 6, the first weekend of opportunity to buy and sell attributes under the new progression system. Players drafted in the last two rookie drafts have all received their $2 million bonuses and all players have received the money lost on contracts from the end of Season 22 to the start of Season 23.
