SFL Convention heads to Charlotte in 2027

The Simulation Football League is proud to announce that its 2027 Convention is headed to Charlotte, the first Convention in the Southeast since Atlanta in 2019. The Convention and the start of Season 29 will begin Thursday July 29.

"We're very excited to be visiting the Southeast again and North Carolina for the first time," said Commissioner Cameron Irvine. "Mike Daggs, who leads the Convention planning each year, found us a great one and a great partner in DoubleTree. We're looking forward to building off of last season's convention momentum from Denver and bringing another exciting weekend of entertainment to our community."

The 2027 Convention will be the first on the CFB franchise, which the league is making its transition to following the conclusion of the current season, Season 27. It will also return the annual Flag Football Game on Sunday and the SFL Kickball Game on Saturday, which was a major hit in its first effort this past summer. The Owners Summit will also return to kick things off Thursday, bringing all teams together for meetings about long-term growth of the SFL and improving operations at both the team and league level.

The official Convention hotel for 2027 is the DoubleTree by Hilton South Charlotte Tyvola featuring a room rate of $115 for SFL guests using the code 'SFL' and features free parking, $10 breakfast vouchers per day (2 per king room, 3 per double room), a free airport shuttle, free cookies at check-in, an on-site restaurant and bar and an outdoor pool, just eight miles south of the Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
