Season 24 Awards: Sipe takes home MVP

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER OF SEASON 24: MEXICO CITY QUARTERBACK JORDAN SIPE

Mexico City Aztecs quarterback Jordan Sipe may have won his second Championship this season, but before that put together a regular season to remember. Sipe threw for 2,919 yards (6th) but more importantly accounted for 22 total touchdowns and threw interceptions on just 3.6% of his throws, the lowest of any quarterback in Season 24. His 61.2% completions was second best around the league. Four times during the season Sipe did not throw an interception and completed over 68% of his passes.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF SEASON 24: HOUSTON HB JOSH SLAPP

Slapp rushed for 1,160 yards on the ground in Season 24, the most yards for a halfback since stamina rules took effect in Season 22. He accounted for 1,232 all-purpose yards (most among HBs in Season 24) and 9 total touchdowns. Slapp joins receiver Kae Marion in Albuquerque in Season 25, a finalist for this award. Slapp had four, 100-yard games in Season 24, including a 178-yard debut against Chicago. His 49-yard run against Bossier City was the sixth-longest by any tailback this season.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF SEASON 24: MINNESOTA LINEBACKER MATTHEW ALVARADO

Between his league-leading 31 tackles for loss and 4.0 sacks this season, Alvarado accounted for more plays in offense's backfield than any other player in Season 24. Alvarado racked up 92 total tackles (meaning almost a third were behind the line of scrimmage), 6 passes defended, 3 interceptions and a touchdown. Alvarado has increased his TFLs each of his last four seasons and burst onto the scene in Season 24 when he recorded seven TFLs against rival Indianapolis. He had an interception or a sack in five of Minnesota's 12 regular season games.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF SEASON 24: ATLANTA KICKER SAMMY STEELE

Sammy Steele took his 24/24 field goals from last season and smashed it, knocking through 32/32 field goals in Season 24 - a 4k23 record for most field goals made and attempted in a season. His long of 53-yards tied his long from Season 22 and was the longest field goal made this season, tying a 4k23 record. Steele also signed with the Albuquerque Atoms this off-season heading into Season 25.

OFFENSIVE ROOKIE OF SEASON 24: INDIANAPOLIS QB ETHAN FLOWERS

Flowers made an extreme impact, starting all 12 games as the signal caller of the Indianapolis Ramblers. Flowers passed for 1,946 yards and 12 touchdowns, including a three-touchdown debut in primetime against Charleston. Flowers was selected 9th overall.

DEFENSIVE ROOKIE OF SEASON 24: CHICAGO SS KRONK WORTHY

Worthy finished one spot away from making the Season 24 All-Star team, putting together an impressive resume of 70 tackles, 8 tackles for loss, a sack, 7 pass deflections, 7 interceptions and a defensive touchdown. Worthy had 8 tackles, 2 interceptions and a touchdown against Atlanta - his breakout game.

MOST IMPROVED player OF SEASON 24: BOSSIER CITY CORNERBACK MIKAYLA FOURAKER

Fouraker busted onto the scene in Season 24, racking up a league-tying nine interceptions. In her two previous minor league and major league seasons combined, Fouraker registered just five total interceptions. She had two interceptions returned for touchdowns - more than all her previous seasons combined - and was responsible for a forced fumble, five pass deflections, a sack, five tackles for loss and 52 total tackles in Bossier City's first postseason appearance. She had three interceptions against Washington, one of the best teams in the league in Season 24.

SURPRISE player OF SEASON 24: PITTSBURGH WIDE RECEIVER ZIGGY HRONEC

Ziggy Hronec had a combined 1,229 yards in his first three seasons of the 4k23 era. He had 1,242 yards in Season 24 - his first with the Pittsburgh Riverthogs helping to put Pittsburgh on the radar of every team in the league early in the season. Hronec had 7 touchdowns - two more than his previous three seasons combined. He more than doubled his previous high in receptions and earned his first all-star appearance in his nine-season career. Hronec finished the season with four-straight 100-yard outputs, including 250 yards and two scores in the wild shootout against Queen City.
