League office updates on team ownership changes
The Simulation Football League has been working over the last 30 days to transition four franchises into new ownership structures for Season 24 and beyond.
Motor City V8s owners Colin and Rick Northrup and Duane Schindler have sold their interests in the team to Robert Thump, who earlier this off-season announced a team move to Washington state to become the Trident.
In Queen City, the Corsairs have unveiled a new logo led by Chad Stinson and Tom Welsh, who have taken over as the primary owners of the team.
In Indianapolis, the Ramblers are now operated by Robert Cherry, after the team was sold by Chad Roland. The team will remain in Indianapolis for Season 24.
Louisiana owners Gerald Smith and Ross Napoli have sold the team to Michael Irvine, who is resurrecting the Oklahoma City Renegades. The team's old records will be transferred back to the Renegades away from the Arizona Scorpions, who began play in Season 14.
The league will be reviewing all 25 franchises to make sure they are in good standing heading into Season 24, which kicks off in January 2025 and will finalize its team lineup and divisional alignment later this month.
