SFL Releases Season 21 Schedule

Two months from kickoff to Season 21, the Simulation Football League released its schedule featuring a 13-game slate for Convention 2023, the national television schedule on Next Level Sports and the Monday Night Spectacular slate. In total, the league will broadcast 173 games from July 28 through Thanksgiving weekend.

Week 1 kicks off in Florida where the 3x champion Florida Storm will host the 4x Defending Champion Baltimore Vultures. The two coaching staffs combined to win 10 of the league's 20 Championships in the APF era. In the Hall-of-Fame Game, Colin Northrup;s (2022 inductee) V8s host Michael Truilo (2023 inductee) and the Carolina Skyhawks. Saturday, Indianapolis and Minnesota renew their rivalry, the new Estadio Matt Willson hosts its first opponent: rival Fort Worth and podcasters clash when Arizona battles San Diego in the nightcap.

The National TV schedule is headlined by Canton's first televised game, hosting Louisiana in its home opener in Week 2; boats vs. planes renews its rivalry when Portland meets San Diego in Week 6; Vancouver meets Fort Worth in a Quarterfinal rematch from Season 20 in Week 9 and the battle for California commences in Week 12 with San Diego and Los Angeles. The Monday Night Spectaculars are back with This Week in the SFL recapping all the action around the league before the kickoffs of the biggest games each weekend. D.C. travels to Atlanta for the first time (Week 2) and to Jacksonville for the first time since Season 7 (Week 11); Vancouver and Tulsa have their home openers in Weeks 3 & 4, respectively; San Diego will honor the fallen while hosting Indianapolis on September 11 and Atlanta faces Baltimore in a Semifinal rematch Week 12.
